Michelle Chen serves as a Research Associate at Bancroft Associates PLLC. She received her A.B. from Princeton University, where she graduated magna cum laude from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and earned a certificate in Finance. Her senior thesis explored the relationship between the rule of law and economic development in China. At Princeton, Michelle was President of the Tigressions, an all-female a cappella group, and an Associate Editor for Design at The Daily Princetonian. Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in French, she has studied abroad in Beijing, China and Paris, France. Michelle has previously worked at Human Rights First and Human Rights in China.
